About Me

Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or the after-effects of trauma?  I provide compassionate, effective, affordable counseling in a supportive and non-judgmental setting. I offer tools for resolving issues, overcoming obstacles, helping you regain control of your life, discovering your potential, and creating the life you want & deserve. Whatever your challenges, you can rise above them. Allow me to take this journey with you!

My role as a psychotherapist is that of a catalyst for self-discovery, positive change, growth and healing, and empowerment, which ultimately, leads to a new life. Although I work with clients who have relationship issues, my specialties are Domestic Violence and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

In addition to 13 years in private practice, I also have experience counseling adolescents in a residential treatment center, home-based counseling, and working in a community mental health center. I also provided free grief and Post-Traumatic Stress counseling to survivors at Ground Zero during the 9/11 tragedy, of the Columbine High School massacre, and the Aurora (Colorado) theater shooting. In 2008, I opened my private practice and also facilitate support groups for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, female veterans and wives of active duty military.
