About Me

Hannah has her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Hannah is also registered with the state of Colorado as an LPCC (Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate), an NCC (Nationally Certified Counselor), and a RP II (Reiki Practitioner Level Two).

In a wide breadth of settings, Hannah has experience counseling both children and adults. She has taught mindfulness techniques and healthy living skills to first-year cadets at the United States Air Force Academy for the past three years, facilitates meditation groups series, offers non-directive play therapy for children at The Bridge Center for Play Therapy, and offers intuitive Reiki sessions in conjunction with counseling sessions.

Attunement Counseling approaches human behavior from the theoretical perspective that adopted identities are a tool to survive and function in society.  When identities are adopted unconsciously, the experience of one's life may become misaligned with their deepest desires, aspirations or passions.  In a safe, non-judgemental environment the client is empowered at Attunement Counseling to recognize their agency over what identities they maintain, dismantle or create anew.  Once the author learns the pen is resting in their hand, they can begin to write their own story.

Hannah's mission is to help guide others toward their Truth - a person's most joyous expression of self. Recognizing life offers many opportunities to learn, grow and transform, the process of life can also be painful and immobilizing. By honoring each individuals experience and pace for change, Hannah believes each person has the capacity to create a meaningful and fulfilling life. As a compassionate listener and healer, Hannah is committed to journeying alongside her clients as they transform into their best possible self.

Hannah lives in Longmont with her fiance and three dogs. She enjoys spending time in nature trail-running, hiking, and biking. Hannah also loves to cook, dance and play in her garden.
