As a therapist, my goal is to work with you so that you may obtain consistency where needed, practice giving and receiving love with healthy boundaries and allow you the opportunity to become aware and create the discipline you need to become a healthier individual.

Common matters that were salient when I taught in the USA and internationally across different cultures and languages were that all children need consistency, love and discipline. I kept these three salient principles in mind as I continued to my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) and throughout my practicum, internship and present private practice. All humanity needs these same principles regardless of age.

I have a Master’s degree in Adolescent Education and I worked as a classroom teacher for over 10 years. I taught English Language Arts (ELA) in New York City for over 5 years and then taught internationally to countries like Lebanon and China. Therefore, I have educational and counseling experience working with people of different ethnicities and cultures.

Language can sometimes be a barrier for some to receive counseling. Therefore, I provide counseling sessions in Spanish for those whom Spanish is there native tongue.
Among the issues with which I work are anxiety, depression, Spiritual issues, pre-marital counseling, marital counseling, sexual orientations, sexual addictions, pornography and eating disorders to mention the more common ones.

I work with couples, individuals and families who wish to learn how to live meaningful and joyful lives. Therapy does require work and sometimes it may feel intense because our emotions may be intense. However, I will work right along with you to help you grow into an even healthier version of yourself.
