Megan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a graduate of William James College with a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. She is trained in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and takes a humanistic and person-centered approach to counseling.

Megan has a specialized interest in multicultural counseling and has extensive experience working with adults and adolescents struggling with adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, identity development, relationship issues and self esteem issues. Megan also has experience working with substance abuse issues, chronic mental health issues, spiritual and grief counseling. Megan respects that everyone is in a different place when they begin counseling and will go at a pace that is comfortable for them. She understands the importance of meeting that person where they are with a non-judgmental stance, in a welcoming and relaxing environment, with a little humor when needed, and compassion for each person’s struggle, journey, and growth.
