Whether you are dealing with feelings of hopelessness, depression, or anxiety, a past tragedy, or abuse, Michelle will encourage and guide you toward a path of healing and hope. She believes in creating a safe place where you can learn, grow, and develop the strategies needed to overcome what is holding you back. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based therapies. She has additional training in crisis and trauma counseling, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for those recovering from trauma and other distressing life experiences.
Michelle earned her Masters of Arts in Counseling degree from B. H. Carroll Theological Institute, is EMDR Trained, and is a SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Licensed Facilitator.
In addition to in-person sessions, Michelle offers virtual counseling sessions. Free 30-minute Q&A sessions are available upon request.
